What the warranty covers, for how long, and what you need to do to keep it.
What the warranty covers
- The whole vehicle
- 7 yrs / 150,000 km
- Dongfeng Rich 6 (pickup): the whole vehicle
- 3 yrs / 100,000 km
- High-voltage battery (minimum 70% capacity)
- 8 yrs / 150,000 km
- Paint and body corrosion
- 5 years
- Chassis
- 2 years
- Audio and comfort systems
- 3 yrs / 60,000 km
- Fuel system
- 2 years
- Climate and cooling system
- 2 years
- Exhaust system
- 3 yrs / 100,000 km
- Electrical and control modules
- 3 yrs / 60,000 km
- Wiring and cabling

- LED lighting

- 12V battery
- 24 months
- Alternator and starter

Whichever limit is reached first applies. The warranty is valid on the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria only.
What it does not cover
The warranty does not cover the following. The full list is in the vehicle's warranty booklet.
- Normal wear: pads, discs, clutch, bearings, bushings, joints, wipers, tyres.
- Consumables and scheduled maintenance: oils, fluids, filters, belts, spark plugs.
- External damage: accidents, stone chips, hail, vandalism, theft, natural events.
- Missed or improper maintenance, unauthorised modifications, non-original parts.
- Unsuitable or poor-quality fuel and fuel additives.
- Corrosion from aggressive environments: salt, chemicals, acid rain.
- Indirect costs: recovery, parking, hotels, rental cars, loss of use.
- Noise and vibration inherent to the design or to normal ageing of materials.
- Vehicles with a tampered odometer.
- After an LPG conversion the term for the affected assemblies is reduced to 3 years or 100,000 km.
What is required of you
- Follow the manufacturer's service schedule.
- Every inspection must be recorded and stamped in the service book.
- Repairs are carried out at an authorised workshop using original parts.
- When making a claim, present the warranty card and the service book.
Vehicles in commercial use
For taxis, rental cars and company vehicles owned by legal entities the term is 2 years or 100,000 km for the engine and transmission, and half the standard period for all other components.

This commercial warranty does not affect consumers' statutory rights under the Bulgarian Consumer Protection Act.
