Cars and warranty
What does the warranty on a new car include?
New Dongfeng vehicles include a 7-year or 150,000 km warranty, whichever comes first, subject to the importer's warranty terms. The exception is the Dongfeng Rich 6 pickup: 3 years or 100,000 km.
The warranty covers all manufacturing defects and the cost of repairing them at an authorised service centre.
Routine maintenance and consumable items, such as oils, filters and tyres, are not covered by the warranty and must be serviced in accordance with the vehicle's maintenance schedule.
The warranty is valid throughout Bulgaria and provides long-term care for your vehicle.
Which brands do you represent?
Sallina represents Dongfeng, M-Hero and Hongqi in Bulgaria.
All three are sold and serviced in one place in Plovdiv: you can compare them in a single visit.
Ordering and delivery
What is the vehicle ordering process?
Our showroom offers a wide range of vehicles available for immediate purchase. Our team will assist you with all required documentation, as well as with attractive leasing options through trusted partners.
When the desired configuration is not currently available, the vehicle is ordered for production. The usual delivery time is between 3 and 6 months.
Can I drive the car before I decide?
Yes. The test drive is free and sets off from our showroom in Plovdiv, on a route that covers both town and open-road driving.
Book a slot in advance so we can have the particular model you are interested in ready for you.
Leasing and payment
What is the minimum deposit?
On a lease it usually starts at 10% of the price, though it depends on the bank and on your profile. On a consumer loan there may be no deposit at all.
Can my company take out the lease?
Yes. Business leasing is available subject to the bank's approval and the applicable accounting and tax rules. Please consult your accountant about your specific case.
How long does leasing approval take?
Within 48 hours on working days once the full set of documents is in. If anything is missing, we will tell you at the showroom.
Individuals need an ID card and proof of income. Companies need a current company record and the latest financial statement. We prepare the rest.
Service and maintenance
What maintenance does the car need after purchase?
To preserve the reliability, safety and long life of the vehicle, it is important to keep to the recommended service intervals.
Petrol, hybrid and electric cars each have their own servicing requirements, but the aim is the same: that your car runs faultlessly and at maximum efficiency.
Where is the car serviced under warranty?
At our authorised workshop in Plovdiv, using genuine parts and the manufacturer's maintenance schedule.
Warranty repairs, seasonal tyre changes and preparation for the annual roadworthiness test are all carried out there as well.
