New Dongfeng vehicles include a 7-year or 150,000 km warranty, whichever comes first, subject to the importer's warranty terms. The exception is the Dongfeng Rich 6 pickup: 3 years or 100,000 km.
The warranty covers all manufacturing defects and the cost of repairing them at an authorised service centre.
Routine maintenance and consumable items, such as oils, filters and tyres, are not covered by the warranty and must be serviced in accordance with the vehicle’s maintenance schedule.
The warranty is valid throughout Bulgaria and provides long-term care for your vehicle.
To maintain your vehicle’s reliability, safety and long service life, it is important to follow the recommended service intervals.
Petrol, hybrid and electric vehicles have different maintenance requirements, but the goal is the same: to keep your vehicle running reliably and at maximum efficiency.
Petrol vehicles
- Change the engine oil and oil filter every 10,000–15,000 km or once a year.
- Replace the air and fuel filters every 10,000–15,000 km.
- Replace the spark plugs every 30,000–60,000 km, depending on the engine type.
- Check the brakes, tyres and suspension at least once a year.
Hybrid vehicles
- Change the oil, filters and spark plugs at the same intervals as for petrol vehicles.
- Check the high-voltage battery and cooling system, usually once a year.
- Perform software updates and diagnostics of the hybrid system during every major service.
- Check the brakes and tyres during every major service. Thanks to regenerative braking, the brakes usually wear more slowly.
Electric vehicles
- No engine oil, spark plug or fuel filter replacement is required.
- Check the battery and cooling system, usually once a year.
- Check the charging port, cables and electronic systems at least once a year or whenever charging issues occur.
- Check the brakes, tyres and suspension during every seasonal tyre change or every 10,000–15,000 km.
- Perform software updates during every service visit.
