High-strength steel in the load-bearing structure
The cabin is wrapped in a load-bearing structure Hongqi calls its “9H” design. The manufacturer puts 67.7% of it in high-strength steel, and it shows in how the car behaves: the cabin stays calm and composed where softer structures begin to flex.
The welcome
The key stays in your pocket. Take hold of the handle and the H9 unlocks, while electromagnetic latches catch the door so there is no clunk, opening or closing. From your phone you can unlock the car and control its main functions remotely.
Unlock the car and it greets you with a lighting ceremony of its own: the emblem unfurls across the ground beside the door, then the sill and the handles light in turn. A flourish rarely seen in this class, and the first thing rear-seat guests notice.
In the back
Two individual seats with power adjustment, heating, ventilation and massage, separated by a console with a touchscreen of its own. Backrest angle, cushion length and headrest settle into a position that takes the fatigue out of a long drive, and the right-hand passenger gets a one-touch relax position.
At the wheel
360° cameras, blind-spot monitoring and a wide-angle digital rear-view mirror cover everything around the car, while the head-up display keeps your speed and navigation in your line of sight. The result is calm in city traffic and when parking, with no guessing about what is alongside you.
